Asset Storage

MOTORIZED ASSET, VEHICLE, BOAT, EQUIPMENT AND DOCUMENT STORAGE

Pursuant to the Bankruptcy & Insolvency Act, we provide on-demand pickup and storage services for Licensed Insolvency Trustees. Additionally we provide on-demand pickup and storage services for consumers going through a Consumer Proposal. 

We store automobiles, transport trucks, trailers, boats, motorhomes, snowmobiles, water-crafts, jet skis, ATV's, construction, and industrial equipment. We have direct relationships with the major banks, creditors and debt collateral & recovery organizations across the country. We ensure a stress-free pickup and the safe return of your asset.

Appraisals

APPRAISALS UNDER THE BANKRUPTCY & INSOLVENCY ACT

Prior to, or in the event of a receivership or bankruptcy, our CPPA certified appraisers will inventory, photograph, and appraise all assets and leasehold improvements. Our comprehensive appraisal report will include in place and fair market values, detailing the appraiser’s observations.

We provide services to hold an orderly and timely liquidation, retail sale, and directly market to end users.  Alternatively, we can host an en bloc or by piece auction sale of the assets. In the event a sale is not possible at the premises of the bankrupt business, we provide experienced staff to dismantle, pack and remove contents and chattels for sale offsite.

Pursuant to the Personal Property & Securities Act RSO 1990 (PPSA) or Repair & Storage Lien Act RSO 1990 (RSLA), Parklawn Group provides default sales solutions. This can manifest in several ways.  We work with the LIT on a case-by-case basis to help them actualize and recover on behalf of the estate or other.

Asset Verification

Asset verification services ensure the existence, condition and identification of fixed, motorized and mobile assets at the present time, time of purchase, lease or refinance. We help the LIT reduce fraud by ensuring that the asset exists, the condition, location, make, type or model and year of construction as specified in Pursuant to the Bankruptcy & Insolvency Act, in a creditor package in relation to an estate or other documentation.
